Good News To Start Off The Week….

Before I start, here’s wishing you all good luck at the felt where ever you’re playing today and throughout the week.

Now, I have some great news to share with you today, and it’s regarding Rio Poker Palace. (The Poker Community.) Now as you all might be aware, our fellow neighbours (forgive the pun….lol.) down under cannot play poker for cash on any Merge poker sites……well that was prior to 19/05/10.

That’s right, as of the 19/05/10 all Australian poker players that have since struggled to play on Merge can now play all cash games at Rio Poker Palace. It had come to our attention that many Australian’s had become frustrated because they could participate in cash events and Rio Poker Palace have taken the big step in opening the market. The New Beginning….

Hello Ladies and Gents,

As you have probably noticed, I have been absent for a couple of months. This was sadly due to a serious illness I contracted just prior to Christmas last year. Thankfully, I have finally got myself healthy and back to normal and not only that I’m also in a position to now get myself back in to online poker, and continue to blog and interact etc……

So with the above mentioned and out of the way, here is ‘the new beginning’ so to speak….lol.

A lot has happened to Rio Poker Palace during my absence, Rio has now opened its new site, which was explained in my previous blog, also Rio have opened deposit options to players looking to deposit. However this option is still unavailable to U.S. players at this time. I have also become a host again since my illness, and enjoying myself back amongst the regulars. Also in the last couple of days, I have been fortunate to become a moderator at Pokerspace. Now this brings a huge amount of responsibility to the job and I know I have all the skills available to help Pokerspace as a whole and also make new members feel welcome and settled in as quickly as possible.

Tonight’s feature regarding Pokerspace, is the PS Point. The PS Point is a form of currency, that Pokerspace employ so members can earn there

way to exclusive tournaments, fantastic gifts at the gift shop and much much more!

Now there are 3 ways to get PS Points, and that is either ;

• Earned
• Play
• Bought

Earned,

To earn, you can simply fill out you profile details when you first sign up to Pokerspace, be active in and around the website, (i.e. blogs and forum posts) or pass the tests in the school. This is the best way to start, and get you on the path to richness.

Play,

By playing, enter numerous tournaments (free rolls) you can win points by cashing, taking last longer bets, (a bet to outlast another player, winner

takes all) or even play the Pokerspace Lotto, for as little as 10 PS Points per go, and receiving great rewards if you win.

Bought,

Or if push comes to shove, you can always purchase the points. Currently, PS Points can be purchased for as little as $1 for 100 PS Points.

Now that we have pretty much given you a slight understanding on how to gain PS Points, its worth mentioning now, what you can use them for. Like many Poker sites on the web, when there are points available, there always a gift store of some sort, and there’s no difference here. I think the best thing to leave on, is something i mentioned earlier in this post. That is “Last Longer Bets” or for short (LLB). This something members can do between one and another prior to an event, and bet to see who will last longer. Obviously the amount is up to the players concerned. At the moment i think the record stands at 1000 PS Points as a bet between two players.

RioPokerPalace Continued….

Hello again guys and gals,

As promised in my previous post, i was going to add some more information about this great poker site RioPokerPalace.

Now if you have recently taken the opportunity to follow any of my links to the website and possibly for instance created an account, you would have probably noticed that the website is called RioPokerCasino. The reason for this is simply that RioPokerPalace took  over an old Poker site, which became dormant, and whilst RioPokerPalace gets its own website built they will continue to use RioPokerCasino.

Now the new website is looking great, but no deadline has been set, as the company feel that they are in no rush.

Just to tickle your fancy, here is an image of what the new website will look like, please bare with us, as stated earlier, the website is still being built, and is not completed.

As you can probably tell, some exciting times ahead…..

On another note, you would probably wonder why you have not seen RioPokerPalace advertised much around the web or even The Merge Network. This is mainly due to the fact that the website is new and soon, the flood gates will open (so to speak) and will be a well known poker site throughout.
